Through its scholarships and network activities, Fulbright Germany promotes diverse talents, institutional collaborations, and international knowledge transfer.

Fulbright Grants
Living and learning in the host country, discovering new perspectives and recognizing commonalities, that is the goal of Fulbright scholarships. They are open to a wide range of academic disciplines, talents and biographies. With 20 funding programs, we invite transatlantic exchange in study, research, teaching, and continuing education.

Fulbright @ 75 – CONNECTING GENERATIONS
For 75 years, Fulbright Germany has been driven by people who have built bridges, taken on responsibility, and shaped transatlantic exchange through personal encounters and long-term relationships. Our anniversary year in 2027 is therefore guided by the theme “Connecting Generations.” It honors the generations of Fulbrighters who laid the foundation for our One Fulbright Community today, while also inviting those who will write the next chapter of this network. For we shape the future of Fulbright by building on the experiences, commitment, and relationships of those who have shaped Fulbright before us.
